Through its Mission Handicap, MIU is determined to promote the integration of students with permanent and/or temporary specific needs, through a customized welcome, support and monitoring specific, social and technical aids, tests, etc.

Mission Handicap is a part of the University life. Its main objectives are:

  • To welcome and accompany the students with specific needs starting from their being able to pursue their higher studies and end up with their integration in the job market (human assistance, technical or relational, etc);

  • To coordinate all actions around the issue of disability (support of students and staff with specific needs, participation in events, within the university community, on the disability awareness and establishing partnerships to develop professional projects and access to employment, etc.

Mission Handicap welcomes and supports students experiencing physical, sensory or mental dyslexia or a long duration disabling health disorder. It proposes measures adapted to each student, with pedagogical aids (taking notes, secretarial skills, making equipment available to them, and assistance during movement, etc.) (to learn more about such assistance, come as soon as possible to the Mission Handicap).

A CUSTOMIZED ASSISTANCE

To support the students with disabilities to access knowledge, MIU has set up a specific SIC Office.

Its objective is to offer each student an adapted assistance, whether the student is in Humanities, Law, Medicine or any other school of engineering, be they in Nador, Al Hoceima or at any other relocated university site.

To benefit from this offer and adapted measures, one must take an appointment as soon as possible with the Secretariat of the respective SIC service.
